The Semaglutide Report

Ro review

What Ro currently offers

Ro's current weight-management pages present access to branded GLP-1 treatment through the Ro Body membership. Semaglutide options include the Wegovy pill and injection, with Ozempic also listed. The daily Wegovy tablet is a branded product; it should not be confused with a compounded tablet offered elsewhere. Other medicines in Ro's catalog contain different active ingredients. No current public compounded-semaglutide purchase price was established in this review. Compare the actual product your clinician proposes rather than using an old article about Ro as a description of today's service.

How care and fulfillment work

The process begins with online questions about health history, lifestyle and goals. A Ro-affiliated provider reviews the information, may request metabolic laboratory testing and decides whether treatment is appropriate. Ro describes ongoing provider messaging, check-ins, coaching and help with dose adjustments and side effects. Those are advertised service features, not a guarantee of a particular response time or clinical result. Fulfillment depends on the product and payment route: medication may be delivered or collected at a pharmacy. Ask which pharmacy will dispense your prescription and how a problem with delivery or a refill reaches the prescribing team. The Wegovy pill page specifically describes that product as cash pay.

Membership and medication are separate

Ro lists $39 for the first membership month, then $149 per month on its monthly plan. Lower advertised membership equivalents require prepayment: $99 per month on three months, $89 on six months and $74 on an annual plan. Medication is additional. The medication table lists the Wegovy pill at $149 for 1.5 mg, $199 for 4 mg and $299 for 9 mg or 25 mg. The Wegovy injection's $199 starter offer is limited to the first two months at 0.25 mg or 0.5 mg, with signup by December 31, 2026; higher doses have different listed prices. These medication figures are not combined care-and-drug prices. Ask for the membership charge, medication charge, term and next renewal amount together before selecting a prepaid option.

Insurance support has limits

Ro describes checking coverage and handling prior-authorization paperwork for eligible products. Its current FAQ identifies the Wegovy pen and Ozempic as its insurance-coverage pathways. That service does not establish that your particular policy will pay. Confirm the prescribed product and required documentation; a general statement about insurance support does not answer whether the pill or a particular plan qualifies.

Stopping the subscription

The terms say membership renews automatically at the checkout price and frequency until canceled, and paid membership fees are nonrefundable. They require cancellation at least 48 hours before renewal through the account or support. Not receiving or using medication does not itself stop membership billing. The terms provide a refund if medication is never prescribed, while the pricing page describes a risk-free eligibility-based start. Prescription-product sales are generally final under the separate returns policy; contact Ro if dispensing appears incorrect. Before prepaying, ask what happens to unused service time, future medication orders and follow-up access. No current state-by-state availability list was verified here, so confirm your location during eligibility review.
