Mochi Health review
Membership is only one part of the cost
Mochi offers clinician access and nutrition support, with medication paid separately. Its standard membership is listed at $79 for one month, with longer membership terms also available. A separate insurance-based membership has different visit and payment arrangements. Decide which program you are joining before comparing totals: an insurance visit copay, a care subscription and a prescription charge describe different parts of treatment, and the lowest membership figure does not include semaglutide.
The prescription price can change with the dose
The FAQ currently says compounded semaglutide starts at $60 per month and is priced by the weekly dose prescribed. That is a starting medication figure, not a flat price for every dose. Promotions and longer supply offers can carry different payment terms, and a continuing checkout price was not established for every dose. Do not combine the cheapest terms from separate offers. Confirm your eligible offer, dose, supply, renewal amount and required membership together.
Care includes more than prescription ordering
The semaglutide page advertises unlimited provider visits and adjustments as treatment progresses. Mochi also describes care-team messaging and an insurance-support pathway on its main site. These features can matter if you want ongoing discussion rather than a refill-only service. Ask who handles medication questions, how to book a clinician visit and what happens when a refill needs review. Published access to a team is not a guarantee of an immediate medical reply.
Know the product and dispensing pharmacy
Mochi lists both branded and compounded treatment options; the compounded injection offer is not the same product as branded Wegovy. Its public pharmacy page describes a partner network rather than identifying the pharmacy assigned to every patient. Ask for your actual dispenser, medication label, concentration and refill instructions. A network’s presence does not establish which pharmacy fills your order. Also confirm that the specific medication and offer are available in your state before paying.
Membership and medication have cancellation controls
Mochi’s terms distinguish paid membership from medication subscriptions. Membership cancellation is available through the account or by phone; ordinary email is explicitly not an accepted cancellation method. Medication can be modified before a refill request reaches the pharmacy. The terms say ending membership also cancels active medication subscriptions that require it. Check both renewal settings and retain confirmation, especially if medication has already entered fulfillment. Canceling a plan and reversing a completed charge are separate questions.
The main trade-off is a separate recurring fee
Mochi’s refund page treats prescription purchases as final. Its terms generally exclude refunds for partially used membership periods, with limited discretionary exceptions. Longer prepaid membership can therefore lower the monthly equivalent while increasing the amount committed. Mochi is worth comparing if you will use the care and nutrition access; the main budgeting risk is judging it only on a medication promotion. Ask for the recurring total at your prescribed dose and the amount refundable if treatment changes.
