The Semaglutide Report

MadeMed review

What the injectable offer includes

MadeMed’s injectable semaglutide page describes a compounded formulation with L-carnitine, clinician consultation, injection supplies and free overnight shipping. It lists the same price across the dose options shown. This is a compounded prescription service, rather than a purchase of a branded semaglutide product. The additive is part of the advertised formulation; the page does not establish that it improves weight loss or tolerability compared with semaglutide alone. Discuss the exact prescription with the clinician.

Read the charge beside the monthly equivalent

The quarterly selection displays $239 a month and $717 billed every three months. A lower starting headline of $199 a month appears on the same product page, alongside a six-month option. Do not combine that lower headline with the shorter commitment. Compare the selected total and duration at checkout, including what renews automatically. A monthly equivalent describes the cost of a term; it is not evidence that the provider collects that amount in monthly installments.

The billing term and shipment interval can be different. Read our guide to prepaid medication plans. 10rx review describes another quarterly arrangement, including when cancellation stops a future refill rather than reversing the current term.

Shipment frequency is a different question

The selected plan says one vial ships every two months, despite its three-month billing cycle. It also says dose changes occur when requested rather than through automatic increases. Ask how the supply and follow-up schedule work across the paid term, and how a clinically required change affects the next shipment. A multi-month payment does not necessarily mean all medication arrives together. The dispensing label and clinician’s instructions should determine use, rather than a marketing diagram or this review.

A declined prescription may retain a consultation fee

The product page promises a refund minus a $39 doctor-visit fee if medication is not prescribed. The returns policy explains that a completed consultation fee pays for the clinician’s work and is nonrefundable. This is different from a no-charge-unless-prescribed offer. Before intake, confirm when that fee becomes earned and how it appears in the payment total. Completing a questionnaire or paying for review is not a guarantee that the clinician will prescribe the requested treatment.

Cancellation and returns have limits

The returns policy treats dispensed medication sales as final and does not accept prescription or over-the-counter returns. It asks patients canceling or rescheduling a consultation to contact support at least 24 hours beforehand; later requests may not qualify for a refund. That consultation deadline does not establish a separate subscription-renewal cutoff. Obtain the renewal date, how to stop future billing and the treatment of any unfulfilled prepaid supply before committing to a longer plan.

Inspect the package and retain the evidence

MadeMed requests notice of damaged, incorrect or lost orders within seven days of the delivery date, with the order number and photographs when applicable. It describes replacement or a refund for the affected product at its discretion. Save the packaging while the issue is reviewed. The product page advertises physician review within 24 hours followed by overnight shipment; those are separate stages, not a guaranteed next-day arrival from the moment you pay. Confirm state availability and the assigned dispenser during intake.
